Synopsis:
In the isolated Vourvourou, Grandpa stays with his relatives, the eggs. During the visit of his real grandsons, the youngest, Marcus, is convinced to find out where the sun sleeps when it gets dark. He is confronted for the first time with the magical fairy tale that we call life.
In isolated Vourvourou, Grandpa lives with his imaginary egg-relatives. While his real grandsons pay him a visit, the youngest, Markos, is determined to find out where the sun sleeps at night. Unexpectedly, a magical tale unravels before Marko’s eyes. The circle of life.
Director's Biography/Director's Short Bio:
Karina Logotheti was born in the USA and grew up in Thessaloniki. After completing her studies at the Technological Educational Institute of Photography and Audiovisual Arts as well as at the Digital Filmmaking Department of SAE, she began working in the field of cinema, mainly as an assistant director and screenwriter. In 2016 he moved to Los Angeles, where he works. In the same year, the script of the film Vourvourou was distinguished by the Greek Film Academy and the film was funded by OTE TV.
Karina Logothetis was born in the USA and raised in Thessaloniki. After completing her studies at the TEI of Photography and Audiovisual Arts as well as at the SAE Digital Film Department, she began working in the field of cinema mainly as an assistant director and screenwriter. In 2016, she moved to Los Angeles, where she works. At the same year, the Vourvourou film script was distinguished by the Greek Film Academy and the film was sponsored by OTE TV.
