Director's/Biography Biography:

Loukas Agelastos is a director and photographer. He was born in Athens in 1977 and studied Social Sciences and Business Administration at Scottish universities and Film Directing through the Raindance Masters program at Staffordshire University in England. He collaborates with his wife, the director Spyridoula Gkouskou. Their first short documentary is The Unemployed Who Feeds the Homeless (2013) about the Social Kitchen, The Other Man had over 350,000 views in various Facebook and YouTube posts. Their feature-length documentary Me, the Other Man (My Human Self) on the subject of the founder of Social Kitchen Konstantinos Polychronopoulos and original music from the Underground Streams, premiered at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival in 2017 and was awarded as best documentary film at the "Bridges" Peloponnese Festival and won the Jury Prize at the Antioch Festival (Antakya) in Turkey.
