Synopsis:

Romaniotes. The Greek Jewish community, which has been an integral part of the cultural mosaic of the city of Ioannina since the Byzantine era and which was in danger of extinction in the harsh years of World War II. Its history through time parallel to that of the city and Greece.

Director's Biography/Director's Short Bio:

Anies Sklavou studied directing and Stelios Tatakis a director of photography at the Stavrakos School. He has been working for 26 years in film, television and advertising. Since 2004 they have been creating documentaries and short films of their own production. Their documentaries have been awarded in Greek and international festivals.

Agnes Sklavou studied film directing and Stelios Tatakis studied film lighting at Stavrakos Film School. For over 26 years they work in movies, television and advertising. Since 2004 they have produced and directed indie documentaries and short-movies. They have received several national and international awards for their documentaries
