Synopsis:
In Thessaloniki, a city particularly burdened by the economic crisis, more than 420 citizens were united by the slogan "We take our food in our hands". The non-profit Social Consumer Cooperative 'Vios Coop' since 2013 offers local products, without intermediaries. It operates on the basis of the principles of Direct Democracy, Social and Solidarity Economy with the aim of proposing another business model. It is an example that shows us "other paths" to the future.

Director's Biography/Director's Short Bio:
Dimitris Papadopoulos works as a teaching staff at the Film Department of the School of Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In his studies and in the department he deals with issues of film education, film production and biographical approach. At the same time, as a filmmaker he is the creator of three documentaries with participation in Greek and international festivals, as well as numerous workshops and short films in collaboration with schools. He also deals with photography.
Dimitris Papadopoulos works as a teacher at the Department of Cinema of the School of Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He deals with issues of film education, cinematographic production, and biographical approach. At the same time he is the creator of three documentaries as a filmmaker with participation in Greek and international festivals as well as numerous workshops and short films in collaboration with schools. He is also interested in photography.
Ioannis Kollaxizis is an Assistant Professor at the School of Fine Arts, Department of Cinema at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She has studied graphic design, pedagogy, painting, graphic arts - multimedia, sound and image technology at undergraduate and postgraduate level. He has worked on the creation of 43rd short, medium and feature films in Greek and international productions. He has participated with distinctions in many film festivals in Greece and abroad. He also participated with distinctions in 30 Greek and international art exhibitions.
Ioannis Kolaksizis is an Assistant Professor at the School of Fine Arts in the Film Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has studied and postgraduate Graphic Design, Pedagogy, Painting, Graphic Arts - Multimedia, Audio and Video Technology. He has participated in 43 short, medium and feature films in Greek and international productions. He has participated in many film festivals in Greece and abroad. He has also participated in discrimination in 30 Greek and international art exhibitions.
