Synopsis:
John's mom is on the way to an audition for the role of Shakespeare's Viola when she discovers that her young son has been left alone at home. Through a series of phone calls, she struggles to balance the most important roles of her life, while walking in the most controversial area of central Athens, Patission Avenue.

Director's Biography/Director's Short Bio:
Thanasis Neofotistos is a film director, writer and architect, a graduate of The Berlinale Talents 2016. He first studied Architecture (M.A/DUTh) and then continued with the study of Film Directing (B.A/QMU-AMC) and Acting (AKMI). One of his characteristic elements is the Scenography/ Art Direction, as an influence from his studies. The film PROSEFHI: Greek School of Prayer, was his thesis and has already been selected by many major International Film Festivals (21st Congress, 26th São Paulo, 23rd Raindance, 35th Munich and 60 more Festivals) and won the 1st Golden Dionysus Award at the 37th Drama ISFF, as well as other important distinctions. Pogoniskos' documentary won the best documentary award in the 38th ISFF Drama. His short film, PATISION AVENUE, has already participated in NisiMasa ESP 2016.

PROSEFHI: Greek School Prayer, was his dissertation and has already been selected by several important International Film Festivals (21st Encounters, 26th SaoPaulo, 23rd Raindance, 35th Munich, and 60 more IFF) and won the 1st prize (Golden Dionysus Award) at the 37th Drama ISFF, as well as other significant distinctions (Best Sound, Photography, Golden Odysseus, Nomination GFA, etc). His documentary called POGONISKOS won the Best Documentary Award at the 38th Drama ISFF. His short film project, PATISION AVENUE, has already participated in NisiMasa ESP 2016.
