Cinema Under Asteria. Summer 2021

The Film Club of the Chania Film Festival returns dynamically with its summer edition!

After a pause of many months, we look forward to meeting the Friends of cinema again in the ultimate summer enjoyment of CINEMA UNDER THE STARS.

And this summer we will meet in the city of Chania, in the villages of the Municipality of Platanias in many villages of the hinterland of the Regional Unit of Chania but also in Rethymno and Agios Nikolaos.

Screenings with unique films but also actions and events that combine music with cinema or other cinematic surprises.

Especially in this summer trip we must dwell on the special screening program in four two-day screenings at the Municipal Cinema KIPOS during the summer withthe support of the Municipality of Chania and the CFSP-KAM.
Each two-day event is a small thematic unit as a tribute to special genres of cinema.

The screenings – now an institution – that will take place this summer in the Villages of the Municipality of Platanias are the milestone.

Our presence in Festivals that take place in the Hinterland is now well established. Jaz in July and Rocket Festivals.

So we are waiting for you to enjoy CINEMAS UNDER THE STARS.
