Synopsis:

Five young Jewish children in Greece during the German occupation who were saved from death thanks to Christian families, five hidden children who lived in absolute silence tell their stories. Stories of terror and anguish, but also moments of childish carelessness in the arms of strangers, who stood loving nests away from the horrors of the Holocaust. The film follows these characters from childhood to the present day, bringing to light valuable personal documents—a children's diary, a school exhibition, photographs, and family films.

Five Greek-Jewish children who were saved by Christian families during the German Occupation, five hidden children who lived in total silence, finally tell their stories. Stories of terror and anguish but also stories of salvation and carefree childhood into the arms of strangers, which became secret Gardens of Eden, nests of love away from the horror of the Holocaust. The movie follows these persons from childhood to present day, revealing their hidden stories and invaluable personal documents —a diary of a child, photographs and home movies.
