Synopsis:

Hi, I'm David. I am 6 years old. When I was born they thought I was a girl, but the doctors were wrong and I was a boy. David is part of the new transgender generation of people born with the wrong sex, who chose to make the transition very early. For the first four years of his life David was known as Sarah. But for as long as he could remember, he knew he was really a boy. Estel, now 11 years old, was 8 when she chose to change. Raquel, Mario and Marta were all in their teens. In this film, we explore gender reassignment through authentic stories of four young people who took this step. Their statements shed light on how these boys and girls felt both before and after the change, as well as the difficult process that parents often go through to accept this change.
