Ο Rodrigo Sopena (Gijon, Ισπανία, 1977) είναι σεναριογράφος και σκηνοθέτης ταινιών και τηλεόρασης. Η σημαντικότερη ταινία του είναι το Fermat's room (2007) σε σκηνοθεσία και συγγραφή με τον Luis Piedrahita, που έκανε πρεμιέρα σε όλο τον κόσμο. His most outstanding work in cinema is the film Fermat's room (2007) directed and written with Luis Piedrahita premiered all over the world. Official Section of Sitges'07 and at festivals like Tribeca'08, Karlovy Vary'08 or PiFan'08. Best Screenplay Award at the International Film Festival Fantasporto'08 and Melies de Argent to the Best Euroepan Film of Fantastic Cinema and two awards at the Int. Week of Fantastic Cinema of Malaga. On television, Rodrigo Sopena is the creator of the TV-series Club Houdini (Disney Channel Spain, Portugal and Italy).
