Synopsis:
A pair of wandering musicians from France and Belgium, Manu and Orfis decides to make a stop at Plomari, having as baggage their talent and their love for the music of the Balkans. There, in a mountainous village of Plomari, Milies, they will meet Yiota. With her help they will be initiated into the melodies by the musical tradition of Lesvos. At the same time, they will have the opportunity to meet Akis, a religious teacher who staged Karagiozis performances and plays jazz. In these meetings they share with us, each in his own way, their approach to music and life.

Director's/Biography Biography:
Fotiadis Konstantinos is a secondary school teacher, Electrician, with postgraduate studies in real-time automatic control systems. In the past he has worked in the private sector as a Signal Processing Engineer in audio and video applications and in recent years he has been teaching at the EPAL of Gera in Lesvos. In 2017 she attended the short documentary production seminar Make your own film-Home-Home and participated in the 6th Aegean Docs Festival with the film Come and Play on Chess in Lesvos. At the 7th Aegean Docs Festival (1-6 October 2019) he won the award for best New Auteur film from Lesvos for the documentary In your own way, directed in collaboration with Mustafa Altintop.

Mustafa Aldidop was born in Istanbul and for the last ten years he has been living and working in Lesvos for the last ten years. She has studied Industrial Design at Anadolu University in Eskişehir. From his student years, he showed interest in the art of video and short films. In recent years he has been working more systematically with the production of short films with friends and colleagues. In 2015 he directed with Pavlos Kavadias the short film The magic spinner. In 2019 he participated in the 7th Aegean Docs Festival (1-6 October) with the documentary In your own way that he directed in collaboration with Konstantinos Fotiadis and won the award for best new auteur film from Lesvos.
Mustafa Altintop was born in Istanbul and has been living and working in Lesvos for the last ten years. He studied Industrial Design at Anadolu University in Eskisehir.
