Synopsis:

The Marceline. A woman. A century, is a meeting with the remarkable French director Marceline Loridan-Ivens, a radical chronicle, actress of Jean Rouch, survivor of the Holocaust and long-time companion of the Dutch legendary film pioneer Joris Ivens. The film also talks about a unique love and collaboration in filmmaking, about the survival of the holocaust through filmmaking and about an undisputed witness of the 20th century.

It is also a film about a unique love and partnership in film making, about surviving the Holocaust by film-making and about an unimpeachable witness of the 20th century.

Director's Biography/Director's Short Bio:

Cordelia Dvorák is a writer, dramatist, theatre and film director. Since 1996, he has worked for over 80 international opera, theatre and dance productions, including: Kammerspiele in Munich, Staatstheater Stuttgart, Grand Théâtre in Bordeaux, Teatro Sāo Carlos in Lisbon, Piccolo Teatro in Milan and Nationale Reisopera in the Netherlands. Since 1998, he has authored and directed international documentary productions. One has only to survive, Peter Greenaway, Bailar para vivir, Quijote’s Camera.
