Game: The International Competition for the Creation of a Board and Digital Game of EKOME

How does the design of a game motivate creative abilities? How are children motivated to see the lesson as a source of inspiration and make its assimilation a game? How does the creation of a game develop narrative and digital skills as well as computational thinking? EKOME is addressed to children, teachers and parents to present the impressive board and digital games of the students who were submitted to the 1st International Competition for the Creation of a Board and Digital Narrative Game and to inform about how a school class can take creative part in the next one.

The workshop (addressed to the educational community) presents the European project EduMediaTest, co-funded by the Creative Europe / Media Literacy for All program and in which EKOME has been a national partner. The results of the study from Greece and all the European countries that took part, the platform that was established and the Media Kit for secondary education teachers will be announced. Also, the value of further exploitation, as they contribute to drawing useful conclusions about digital intelligence and maturity of students.
