Βιογραφικό Σκηνοθέτη/Biography:

Ο Κωνσταντίνος Καρδακάρης γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα. Σπούδασε Κινηματογράφο, Φυσική και τώρα βρίσκεται στο τμήμα Σκηνοθεσίας Θεάτρου της Δραματικής Σχολής του Εθνικού Θεάτρου. Πρόσφατα, επιλέχθηκε να συμμετάσχει με πλήρη υποτροφία από το ΕΚΟΜΕ στο πρόγραμμα πρακτικής των Nu Boyana Film Studios στη Σόφια. Έχει εργαστεί ως βοηθός σκηνοθέτη στο Φεστιβάλ Αθηνών & Επιδαύρου και στο Εθνικό Θέατρο, συμμετείχε στο Transmedia Labworks της ΕΛΣ και έχει συνθέσει μουσική για τηλεοπτικές και κινηματογραφικές παραγωγές. Πέρυσι, επιμελήθηκε το πρόγραμμα «Transitions» για το 17^ο Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Τιράνων και το 2017 το πρόγραμμα προβολών «Focus on Belgium» για το ΕΜΣΤ. Την ίδια χρονιά επελέγη από την κριτική επιτροπή του 74^ου Διεθνούς Φεστιβάλ Βενετίας για το βραβείο «Venice Days» και ήταν ο Έλληνας πρεσβευτής για το LUX European Film Prize.

Konstantinos Kardakaris was born in Athens. He studied Cinema, Physics and he is currently enrolled in the Directing Department of the Drama School of the National Theater of Greece. Recently, he was selected for a full scholarship from the National Centre of Audiovisual Media and Communication (EKOME) to attend a program in Nu Boyana Film Studios in Sofia. He has worked as an assistant theater director in Athens & Epidaurus Festival as well as in the National Theater of Greece, he participated in “Transmedia Labworks” of the Greek National Opera and he has composed music for television and cinema productions. Last year he edited the program “Transitions” of the 17^th Tirana International Film Festival and in 2017 the program “Focus on Belgium for the National Contemporary Art Museum EMST “Focus on Belgium”. At the same year he was the Greek Ambassador of the LUX European Film Prize and he was selected from the Jury team for the Venice Days award of the 74^th Venice International Film Festival.
