Born in Tehran, Siamak Etemandi has been living and working in Athens since 1995. He studied film in Greece and worked extensively as an assistant director in films, TV series and documentaries. At the same time, she has worked occasionally as an actor in cinema and theater. His short film "Cavo d'Oro" was screened at the Locarno Film Festival in 2012 and made a successful festival run. "Pari" is his first feature film.
