Synopsis:

Beggarwood is called in the slang of street musicians any musical instrument used to make a living. The harsh reality experienced by this particular group of people, on the verge of begging, free artistic expression and social exclusion, is examined by this film, through the eyes of Panagiotis, a homeless street musician, who for 15 years has survived solely because of the strings of his guitar.

Director's/Biography Biography:

Xenophon Angelopoulos was born in Athens, where he studied Directing. He has been an active member of the Greek documentary community in recent years, where he is active as an independent producer and director. His films have premiered and been screened in various festivals around Greece, but also on state television.
