Description:
In this presentation I will talk about how I approach reality through creative documentary. For the uncertainties and questions that I am called upon to answer each time by starting the adventure of a film. To try to find an aesthetic analogue, a language, in order to highlight the stories of reality.
There is not only one truth. Each of us has our own truth.
The reality has to do with the interpretation we give it each time.
It is multidimensional, in constant change. Its approach is a lasting process. It is a course of external and internal search. The creator is in an intermediate position between his external and inner reality.
The documentary is not just the recording of reality .
It's her revelation. Its creative regeneration.
Reality looks like clay in the hands of the filmmaker. So he tries to shape it, to render it the way he sees it. From his point of view. To highlight it in his own aesthetic terms using the cinematic language
The more personal the director's look, the more special the way he writes, the more resonance it has with the viewer, the more solid and universal the film is. And absolutely honest.
