Romn Filieav was born in Tbilisi, Georgia. He grew up and lives permanently in Veria. The love for cinema was evident from an early age. At first he directed art and music videos and then he decided to make his dream come true and in 2017 he directed his first short film called Eftychia, which received positive reviews at festivals in Greece and abroad. In 2019 he directed the second short film TONI that deals with uprooting and the journey to a better life.
