Βιογραφικό Σκηνοθέτη/Biography:

O Sean Burns ξεκίνησε από τα στούντιο Olive Jar στη Βοστώνη, Μ.Α. στα μέσα της δεκαετίας του '80. Ήταν επικεφαλής δημιουργός animation / σκηνοθέτης στα κανάλια MTV και Nickelodeon, καθώς και σε διαφημίσεις, μουσικά βίντεο και ταινίες μικρού μήκους. Ο Sean μετακόμισε στη δυτική ακτή, όπου δημιούργησε τα κινούμενα σχέδια για την τηλεοπτική σειρά Bump in the Night και τη μεγάλου μήκους James and the Giant Peach. Στη συνέχεια, μετακόμισε στα στούντιο του Will Vinton (τώρα Laika) στο Πόρτλαντ του Όρεγκον για να σκηνοθετήσει μια σειρά τηλεοπτικών επεισοδίων του The PJ's στο Fox TV και διαφημίσεις του CG M&M’ Guys. Αργότερα, ο Sean συμμετείχε σε δύο ταινίες μεγάλου μήκους του Laika, The Boxtrolls και Kubo and the Two Strings. Sean Burns started at Olive Jar studios in Boston, MA. in the mid ‘80’s. He was a lead stop motion animator/ director involved in creating spots for MTV and Nickelodeon at the inception of both channels, as well as commercials, music videos, and short films. Sean then moved out to the west coast where he animated on the TV series, Bump in the Night and the feature, James and the Giant Peach. He then moved up to Will Vinton studios (now Laika) in Portland, Oregon to animate and direct a bunch of TV episodes of The PJ’s on Fox
TV and the CG M&M’ Guys commercials, amongst others. Later, Sean was involved in two of the Laika feature film projects, The Boxtrolls and Kubo and the Two Strings. Recently, Sean has been producing animation projects in his own home based studio for games and Augmented Reality content, as well as being in collaboration with long time colleague and Oliver Jar founder Bill Jarcho, creating educational and socially responsible stop motion animated films.
