The documentary “Eftihis Bitsakis: The thought, the action” by cinematographer Prokopis Dafnos refers to the life of the philosopher, scientist, intellectual, Marxist. Eftihis with a simple tender, youthful and courageous speech narrates in its unique way the most important experiences that defined his personality.
Unfolding the tangle of his life, he starts from his village Frame of Selino, Chania, where he was born in 1927, talking about his childhood years, elementary school, high school, prison and exile before going to university, the struggles through the space of the KKE and the Left, the his scientific career in Greece and France and his work (books, magazines, newspapers). Continuing to this day to participate in politics, social and cultural events of our country. The word flows like a river, solid, substantial, serious but also lighthearted, self-sarcastic, humorous, optimistic.
A 90-minute documentary, a life of 91 years.
The screening will take place in the presence of the protagonist of the film Eftihis Bitsakis, who will talk with the audience.
