Synopsis:

Nikolaos Chalikiopoulos-Mantzaros was born on October 26, 1795 in Corfu. From 1819 he continued his musical studies in Italy, where he was particularly associated with the environment of the Royal Conservatory of Naples. Since 1819 he has continued his musical studies in Italy, where he has been associated with the environment of the Royal Conservatory of Naples. Stamatis Tsarouchas is a writer, director and producer of audiovisual works. He was born in Nea Artaki, Evia, to refugee parents and finished his high school years in Chalkida. He studied Cinema at the School of Lykourgos Stavrakos in Athens and attended classes as a visiting student at the National Film School in London. Since 1979 he has been working continuously in the field of film, television and theatre, having authored, produced and directed seven feature-length fiction films and more than two hundred documentaries, in co-production with the Greek Film Center, ERT, History Chanel of Cosmote and private producers. Many of his films and documentaries have been awarded and have received honorary distinctions at the Thessaloniki Film Festival, as well as at the Institution of the State Quality Awards, while others have enjoyed great commercial success.
