Synopsis:

Four people with different disabilities come into contact with contemporary dance for the first time, participating in workshops of mixed groups consisting of amateur and professional dancers of different ages, with or without disabilities, organized by the Onassis Stegi within the framework of the European program Unlimited Access.

Director's/Biography Biography:

Stavros Petropoulos was born in Zakynthos in 1984. He lives in Athens and works as a director, photographer and producer. He is a founding member of the ALASKA films production team. He studied Sociology at the Department of Social Sciences of the University of Crete in Rethymno and then completed postgraduate studies at the Department of Media and Communications of Goldsmiths College of the University of London in London. In recent years he has been creating videos and documentaries about the Museum of Cycladic Art, the American Embassy, the DESTE Foundation and about the free press Lifo and Metropolis - where he wrote articles. He maintains a constant collaboration - from its foundation until today - with the Onassis Cultural Centre, during which he has directed and executed the production for the short documentaries. Apartments, Dan Perjovschi, Transitions-Latin America, Fernando Rubio - What is next to me, Rebecca Louise Law - Tall, Garden, Teenage Theatre Festival, Thanos Samaras - The Greeks etc. He has also directed a large number of episodes of the show JOY (today's JoinUs) for skai TV channel. Finally, the short documentary Dancing to Connect , which he created, was screened at the 17th Thessaloniki Documentary Festival. He is currently completing the documentary titled Unlimited Access.
