Synopsis:

A documentary-journey to the places where Nikos Kazantzakis lived, was inspired and created. From Crete to Antibes, Bozi Dar in the Czech Republic, Assisi in Italy, Mani and Aegina, a route is mapped out and the dynamic portrait of an artist that our era never ceases to discover is outlined.

Director's/Biography Biography:

Alexandros Skouras was born in 1981 in Athens. He has studied Business Administration at the Athens University of Economics and Business, while he continued his studies at postgraduate level in the fields of Advertising & Marketing at Leeds University and Cultural Management at Panteion University. His first short film was Gran Partita (2011), with which he won the award for best digital film in the Digi section of the Drama Festival 2011. This was followed by films 807 (2012) and Abies (2013), while with his film Train ( 2013), he won the 1st prize at the Love in Athens festival organized by Metropolis Free Press and NOVA. He has also co-directed, along with Antonis Glaros, the documentary Reflections of Sevah, as part of the show Outside the Walls of ERT and the documentary Talent in the context of the show of ERT Hess tomorrow the great things. Finally, from 1999 until today, many of his scripts have been distinguished in competitions.
