Περίληψη/Synopsis:

Το να ‘χεις ένα όνειρο είναι πολύ φυσικό και εύκολο για τον καθένα, να το κυνηγήσεις όμως όταν κανείς δεν πιστεύει σ’ αυτό, είναι μοιραίο για λίγους. Ο εννιάχρονος Λούκα, ονειρεύεται να σταθεί στην σκηνή και να χορέψει γιατί είναι ο μόνος τρόπος ν’ αποκτήσει μια θέση στον κόσμο. Τον μόνο κόσμο που γνωρίζει, είναι το δημόσιο σχολείο κωφών στο οποίο πηγαίνει. Παρόλο που ξέρει ότι είναι πολύ δύσκολο να καταλάβει και να μάθει το ρυθμό της μουσικής, δεν τα παρατάει. Η ταινία, είναι η ιστορία ενός νεαρού αγοριού που ονειρεύεται ν’ ακουστεί.

To have a dream is very natural and easy for each one of us, but, to follow it, when no one else believes in it, it is fate for only a few. Nine-year-old Luka dreams to step onto the stage and dance because this is the only way for him to take his place in the big world. The only world he knows is the public school for deaf children where he studies and lives. Even though it’s very difficult for him to understand and learn the rhythm of the music, he never gives up. The film ‘Listen to the Silence’ observes Luka’s life in the hidden world of this deaf society. This is a story of a young boy’s dream to be heard.
