Η Marcelle Abela είναι βραβευμένη σκηνοθέτις και μοναδική στην ιστορία του Jerry Rudes's Cinemonde με δύο ταινίες επιλεγμένες για ζωντανή προβολή. Τα επιστημονικά της ντοκιμαντέρ έγιναν αποδεκτά στα επίσημα αρχεία της Ευρωπαϊκής Υπηρεσίας Διαστήματος και οι ταινίες της έχουν προβληθεί σε ΗΠΑ, Ευρώπη, Κίνα, Ινδία και Ρώσικη Ομοσπονδία. Είναι πρώην βιολίστρια συναυλιών και συγγραφέας δέκα βιβλίων, ένας από τα οποία έχει λάβει έπαινο από τον Μπαράκ Ομπάμα. Marcelle Abela is an award-winning director and the sole filmmaker in the history of Jerry Rudes's Cinemonde to have two films chosen for live screening. Her science documentaries have been accepted into the official archives of the European Space Agency and her films have been screened throughout the US, Europe, China, India, and the Russian Federation. Abela's biblical docudrama, DIvine Beauty, won an Honorable Mention for Best Documentary Short at the 2018 Independent Shorts Awards (Hollywood). It was also nominated for Best Female Director at the same festival and for Best Documentary Short / Best Music at the 2018 Top Indie Film Awards. A former concert violinist and the author of ten books, one of which has received praise from Barack Obama, Abela owes what she knows about filmmaking to Michael Koehler, Lauren McGrail, and Jeffrey Michael Bays.
