Synopsis:

The film refers to the negotiation of the marriage institution of the Greek Roma. It is based on personal testimonies of Roma women and men of the community of Heraklion, Crete. It focuses on the position of the woman, on her way of life, on the way she perceives her position and how she is defined socially through marriage.

Director's/Biography Biography:

Evangelia Goula is a documentary filmmaker. He was born in Thessaloniki in 1984. He graduated from the Athens School of Fine Arts in 2011 and since 2013 he has been working as an artist in the educational sector. Recently, she completed the wider cycle of her studies, as a graduate, in the framework of the Postgraduate Program of A.S.K.T., specializing in Ethnographic Cinema.

Evagelia Goula is a documentary director. She was born in Thessaloniki in 1984. She graduated from School of Fine Arts in 2011 and since 2013, she works as a visual artist in education. Recently, she completed with success her studies in Ethnographic Cinema.
