Five young Jewish children in Greece during the German occupation who were saved from death thanks to Christian families, five hidden children who lived in absolute silence tell their stories. Stories of terror and anguish, but also moments of childish carelessness in the arms of strangers, who stood loving nests away from the horrors of the Holocaust. The film follows these characters from childhood to the present day, bringing to light valuable personal documents—a children’s diary, a school exhibition, photographs, and family films.
