With the distribution of the food collected in the framework of the7th Chania Film Festival, this year’s festival was formally completed today and formally. Once again, food was collected from the optional social ticket that the Festival has established in its screenings. About 20 thousand young and old audiences passed through the7th Chania International Film Festival watching films, participating in workshops and parallel events.
Active spectators but also sensitive citizens, the friends of cinema, the friends of the Festival, proved that they have adopted the social message of the Festival, which from the first day invites it not only to film enjoyment but also to raise awareness “for those in need”.
More than four tons of long-lasting food were given to social groceries, social structures and church structures to reach their natural recipients. The hundreds of this city who need our help.
Closing this cycle, we owe a big THANK YOU to those who honored the Festival by supporting the weak of the city.
