Another International Creative Collaboration for the Chania Film Festival

It is with great pleasure that the Chania Film Festival / ChaniaFilmFestival is starting a collaboration with The EuropeanFilmFactory, an organization with which we share a common vision for film education.

Both The EuropeanFilmFactory and the Chania Film Festival are well aware of the importance of the European dimension in educational activities and we are very pleased that we are able to publicize this collaboration and declare our intention to jointly develop actions and events!

Based on the above, this collaboration will enhance the educational programs of the Chania Film Festival with both content and international experiences.

The European Film Factory is a free and secure platform for film education, available in 8 languages, for students aged 11 to 18 and teachers from all over Europe. The project aims to explore and understand the films that have left their mark on the history of European cinema. It is carried out with the support of the MEDIA sub-programme of Creative Europe, led by the French Institute in collaboration with ARTE Education and European Schoolnet.

The European Film Factory is a new action that is developing throughout Europe thanks to cooperation with various organisations.

In Greece she collaborates with the Chania Film Festival and the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation.
