For the fifth consecutive year, the Chania Film Festival presented with great success the Très Court International Short Film Festival! This year, for the first time, the event took place simultaneously in the physical and digital space, escaping from the borders of our island and reaching all over Greece.
After the completion of the event it was time for the Audience Awards!
The film that garnered the most votes in the world and won the Audience Award is Saber Perder by Spaniard Sergio Milàn.
Followed in second place Beauty and in third the Turning Point.”
It is worth noting that the three films are the first three choices of the Greek audience in the relevant vote.
Despite the adverse conditions this year in the entertainment industry, the 22nd Très Court Very Short Film Festival took place from 5 to 14 June in 14 countries and 39 cities. In Greece, it was presented on June 10th exclusively by the Chania International Film Festival in two simultaneous screenings in an open space in Chania and Sitia, but for the first time and throughout the country in an online screening! The great response of the audience in both the physical and the digital space showed the power of cinema to bring people together, even in social distancing conditions. As always, the screening was followed by the vote for the Audience Award.
More information on the results of the global vote can be found here: https://trescourt.com/en/public-prize?year=2020
