Synopsis:
Chanko Petrov finds millions of leva on the train tracks. He decides to hand them over to the police and the state rewards him with a wristwatch that soon stops working. Meanwhile, Julia Stakova, public relations officer at the Ministry of Transport, loses Chanko’s old watch, which was a family heirloom. Thus begins the hero’s desperate attempt to recover his watch along with his lost dignity.

Thodoris Koutsogiannopoulos writes about the film:
In the third film by Bulgarian directors Gorceva and Walchanov, the hero is a Good Samaritan with a serious problem of stuttering, the worker Chanko, who finds a lot of money on the train tracks, decides to hand it over to the authorities and as another John Doe finds bad trouble in the maze of publicity that follows, as a government-hungry public relations officer dresses him up with selfish motives. A certain move by this woman, to take the old watch that Chanko wears, with which he is emotionally attached, and to give him a gift of a new, digital, dubious quality, symbolizes the opposition that exists in modern Bulgarian society, the lack of respect, the hypocrisy towards traditional values. However, with naturalism and simplicity, Glory moves without flamboyant gestures and delves deeper into the two characters, transcending the narrow Balkan context. Critics’ Award at last year’s Locarno Film Festival.
