The 24^th Thessaloniki Documentary Festival is the starting point of the action With my Documentary I Travel of the Chania International Film Festival.

Documentary is a strategic choice for the Educational Programs of the Chania Film Festival. The oral testimony, the local history and the technique of the documentary are a field of common actions, both for the Educational Community to get to know the Art of documentary, and for the teaching of History in a modern way.

The Chania Film Festival, within the framework of its educational programs, has focused – strategically – in recent years on the creation of documentaries with the school community of Crete. Documentary with emphasis on man. Documentary on local history. Documentary dominated by the element of oral testimony.

Teachers, students and the education and production team of the Chania Film Festival meet in a common creative journey to get to know the art of documentary, as well as elements of local and oral history. A journey full of human stories. True stories.

The action With my Documentary Travel starts from the^24th Thessaloniki International Film Festival for a film journey to festivals and other film activities.
