In the special situation we share, the 8th Chania Film Festival invites its friends, for another year, from 21 to 31 October 2020, to live unique cinematic experiences!
This year’s rich program of the Festival can be watched by our friends all over Greece, online – in a protected environment – in the www.chaniafilmfestival.com .
Part of this program will also be presented in the physical space of the Festival, the Cultural Center of Chania, daily 8.00 p.m. -10.00 p.m., as well as in special views that have been scheduled. In detail, there will be a special update in the coming days from the festival’s site.
At the same time, a significant number of workshops and masterclasses will be implemented in a natural and online environment. Special workshops for the Educational Community, but also for all friends of Cinema.
A special feature of the8th Chania International Film Festival is the decision of its contributors, the online edition to follow a flow of the hall and not on demand promotion, as a contribution to the preservation of the irreplaceable Festival climate.
At the same time, through the channel of the 8th CFF on Youtube, there will be a daily special live show that will give the pulse of the Festival with presentations, discussions and many surprises.
The 8th Chania Film Festival and all its actions are designed and redefined based on the health protocols in force for the protection from the spread of Covid19.
With mandatory use of a mask and thermometry.
For all actions, registration and reservation of a seat will be mandatory, through a relevant electronic system.
